Moving Day

Yay!! We are moved, and I dont ever want to do it again! The BIG furniture swap never happened. My Dad had gallstones and pancreatitis, Grandma had the flu, Ryan had a cold and I was beginning to get better. The following week after what should have been the furniture swap I got a HUGE sinus infection. I know that it seems that I am sick a lot. But, I am never sick with normal ailments such as ear infection, strep throat, etc I SERIOUSLY dont know what they feel like. So, when I got this sinus infection my right side of my face was swollen it was soooooo nasty. But, the anti-biotics kicked in just in time for moving day. The move honestly could not have gone better. We had EVERYTHING packed by 10:00pm Friday night and everyone showed up Saturday at 8:00am. We had everything loaded/moved/unloaded by 9:45am!!! Shiloh and Lindsay were at my townhouse by 8am cleaning the whole time we were loading/unloading it was a HUGE help! Then Lester & Justin showed up around 11:00 so, Lester and her sister Katie went and cleaned my apt while Justin and Ryan put together our bed and other "masculine" duties. I am proud to say that I have unpacked every box possible as of yesterday afternoon. However, I do have some boxes with books in them and decorations but, those will get done within the next 1-2 weeks, that is my timeline. I am also seriously thinking about raising our family in this 2 bedroom townhouse because I dont want to ever move again. I think about some of you have moved numerous times and I dont know how you do it. For me it is a great form of torture!! I will post some pics of the new place for you guys soon. BTW Carli, you and Mark should come now we even have an extra room!!

Ryan is busy busy busy with school I am so grateful to have a husband who does so well in school and loves it and is moving forward. I have so many friends who husbands either struggle in school or dont have much direction. So, although Ryan drives me crazy I couldn't ask for anybody else!

I am enjoying NOT being in school it has finally hit me! Yes, NO school! Although, when I go back for my Master's I will be ecstatic but, the break is nice. Work, is going along and I LOVE my job it. But, I do wonder what else is out there. I look at the classifieds and inquire about other jobs but, nothing is striking my fancy yet. Teaching pre-school is really fun and I think I may do it for another year or two, before I move onto other things....

Your lucky, you only had to move within the same city. I am really not looking forward to moving to a different STATE!! We thought it was going to be this Christmas, but we have been talking and it looks like it will be when Mark is done with school next spring of 2009. I just wasnt feeling like it was the right choice to move at Christmas. I finally really had to listen to the spirit and figure out what it was telling me. That is so exciting though that you have a new place. You guy own it right?.....Lucky if you do, cause then you can decorate it however you want. Have fun in your new home!!!!! We will visit, but after the baby. It probably wouldnt be good to travel these last 6 and a half weeks.
