2 kids pretending to be grown-ups...

So, I am a day late on my ususal weekly post...but, I did have a great weekend.

Last week was pretty normal, I am trying to think of what actually happened, so I am assuming that if I can't remember than it must not of been that bad :-)

Friday evening Ryan and I went to the EQ ward social, that was good. But, you know what is weird is that I just dont mesh with this ward. I tend to think of myself as a friendly, talkative girl. But, in my new ward I serioulsly I dont talk to anybody. Although, in the past month I have met a girl or two but, only people you say hi to in the hall, nobody to really sit with. Now, I know that church is not for socializing so, sitting with somebody isn't that big of a deal. But, it sure is nice to go and see your good friends. But, I just dont know anybody, Ryan on the other hand is a freaking machine, the guy knows freaking everybody! The social was nice but, I still didn't really talk to anybody...and you know its been like this for so many months now that its hard to break out and meet people. So, that was me complaining about my stinky ward, you know I have only talked to our Bishop once and that was at tithing settlement. Its weird because apparently our ward split a year ago and that is everybody's excuse, "this is a new ward and so nobody knows anybody, so sorry if nobody talks to you" I think thats kinda weird its like before they split they didnt associate with those outside of the ward in their own stake. k now i am done :-)

So, after the social Friday evening Ryan and I drove up to Payson. Seth's family has a cabin up there so, we thought it would be a nice change of pace. Seth, Brent, and a few other people were there I think total there was 10 people total. Anyways, they have a Wii up there and holy cow is that fun. Ryan was sore the rest of the weekend just from playing it. Driving out of the city and just relaxing for a bit really helps to recharge your batteries. After we came home on Saturday I went grocery shopping and then we went out to the Landmark for Ryan's pre-birthday dinner (the old man is turning 28 TODAY).

Afterwards, we went home and I once again looked for a new car for me. I found a car and called on it thinking that it too would already be sold just like all the rest but, it wasn't and we bought it Saturday night. I am so FREAKIN excited to be done with car shopping you have NO idea, I think I am more excited than that than for my new car :-) I am the most pickiest car shopper you will ever meet, I know what I want and what I am willing pay and those types of cars are harder to find because obviously they sell 10x quicker than all of the other over priced cars on the lot. I have been looking seriously for a car for probably close to 2 months but, I am done!! So, that was our Saturday :-)

I also gave Ryan his birthday present on Saturday. He is going skydiving!! My brother in law (Taff's husband) is a pilot for a skydiving company in Vegas so, Dan will be his pilot. My cousin Mark is getting married in a few weeks in Vegas so, he will jump out of the plane that same weekend we are in town. Ryan was sooo excited and I think really scared at the same time when he found out. I wrapped up those cheap plastic skydiving men that you can buy at party favor stores, I think when he opened it his stomach kinda turned but, he swears he doesn't want to back out. So, I will DEFINETLY be posting some pics.


So, I guess that is all for now...apparently I needed to vent on a few things. :-)
