Life here is still pretty normal...I can NOT believe that it is already August. Honestly, August is my least favorite month of the year. I am can't give you a definite answer but, here are a few reasons for ya: It is HOT and it has been HOT by this point I am sick of the HEAT. School ALWAYS starts in August. And there is nothing really to look forward too in the month of August.

This past week I wrapped up camp and sent off my few remaining students to the 4's class. This week and all week long is teacher training week. I am sure you can feel my enthusiasm now :-(. Teacher training involves lots of meetings (pointless), lots of of women yacking and a lesson on the Torah everyday. I am sure that you are all jealous right now.

Friday night my friends and I joined in with many of you and got Breaking Dawn at midnight. However, I am proud to say that thanks to my friend Brittany, I decided to stop in at Barnes and Noble earlier in the afternoon and got my place in line. Therefore, we were #6 in line and out of Barnes and Noble and in the car at 12:06. While, I haven't finished the book YET, I am enjoying it. Give me about 200 more pages and the series will be over :-(

On Saturday morning Ryan and I, and some friends were suppose to go tubing down the Salt River. But, Ryan woke up not feeling well and with puss on the back of his throat. So, I sent him to our FANTASTIC urgent care and I headed off to go down the river. The doc said Ryan does NOT have strep throat, it is just a virus and that she has seen many patients similar to him lately. Great, just what I need to get sick, ugh. So, he has been exiled to his OWN couch and OWN room while, I have my OWN couch and my OWN room complete with a new change of clean sheets.

However, I do have to say that while I know puss pockets on the back of throat can be indicative to strep throat. I wasn't really surprised when she said it was just a virus. Ryan and I nor our parents can ever really remember us ever getting strep throat or ear infections (I did have one). Ryan has always been healthy, healthy, and I just get weird diseases. For example, I am beginning to look like a great game of contact the dots....because I have pregnancy induced psoriasis that will NOT go away. Luckily, it mainly stays on my stomach, legs, back and a few on my arm. My OB doesn't know what do with me because nothing has worked so, I am off to the dermatologist. Nothing huge just annoying and weird.

I suppose that is all for now...I am attempting to be more avid about my blogging. But, dont get your hopes up I am not quite sure what this semester of school will entail!
