2 kids pretending to be grown-ups...

I dont think that I have mentioned that we have a crazy neighbor...we live in a townhouse and we share walls with neighbors on both sides of us. On one side we LOVE our neighbors but, on the other side not my favorite people. It all began Super Bowl Sunday and we discovered that our neighbors love pot. Oh, the joy! Unfortunately, the smell would come right into our place through the a/c. Needless, to say I was less than excited. After a few fruitless calls to the police (they took approx 2 hrs to show up each time) on various occasions we decided to knock on his door. And ask him if he could move "whatever" he had in his house because it freakin smells. Long story short he explained that he burns insenses for spirituality. (Ok, buddy if thats what you want to call it.) He said he would try to eliminate the smell coming into our A/C. Meanwhile, we had also become aware that he was PISSED because of whom ever was calling the police on him. After a bit the smell started again, we called the police, he got really pissed. He tried filing an injuction on us for prohibiting harrassment. English version, he tried putting a restraining order on us. YEAH, thats right! Anyways...court came and the judge ruled in our favor. Hello, you are smoking pot that seems like a pretty legitimate reason for calling the police. Our neighbor was ANGRY he was cursing and screaming for hours, and then talking about us still the next morning. BUT, it has now been a week and we have only had faint whiffs of "insenses' we are hoping that he has gotten the clue!! Moral of the story: While, I am NOT a fan of calling the police I have always believed in doing so when it is an illegal act and harming my health. And if we had NOT called the police it would of been his word against ours. And he is one of those fabulous people that loves to pull the "race card". You wouldn't believe how many times he would curse "those white people" and claim its because of his race. Thats right buddy, I only love the white people. Ugh, people like that drive me crazy!!!!

Onto another note....I am applying for graduate school. I am hoping to get in for the fall 2008 semester. But, I am cutting it close so, say a prayer that they still have room for me!!
