I woke up this morning at 1:45am to the sound of fire engines....nothing new we have had a small fire here before at our apt complex. So, I get out of bed and look out our bedroom window to see what is going on and I see HUGE flames coming from the neighborhood. As I gasp I say to Ryan, "I think the church is on fire". He doesn't believe me and thinks it is a house. Well, long story short we watch our church become ENGULFED in flames it became a one alarm fire with two ladder trucks. When I left my house this morning at 7:45am there was still smoke billowing into our parking lot because they were still working on putting out the flames and it STUNK. Kinda crazy the things that happen. But, I am grateful no one was hurt and thankful that we know we can rebuild...here is a link. The video shown has my Bishop (Bishop Stock) and one of my old Sunday school kids (Stacy). This building is also our stake center. I am assuming they will probably build it a lot bigger than it was because it was to small to accomodate us all at Stake Conference so, we had to have it at the Red Mountain institute building.

Sad day, its also my aunt and uncles building. Crazy!! Luckily the church is amazing and there will be no problems in rebuilding it. I just hope that it was not arson, that would be awful.

That's my uncle's building. Crazy that you could see it. I think the pictures of the steeple among the ash is weird.

That was so crazy! We got an up close and personal viewing too. My kids loved all the people that kept stopping by all day to watch. Plus, we discovered that policemen really DO eat donuts. (they shared with us.) That was so crazy!
