Okay, so Brittany tagged me awhile ago...sorry it has taken me a bit to do it but, here it goes!
6 unusual things that people may not know about me.
1. I have had 3 eye surgeries. I was born with a lazy eye and in an effort to correct it I had eye surgery at 18 months old. Then when I was three I wore glasses all day and an eye patch part of the day. When I was 6 I had another eye surgery and received a new pair of glasses but, no eye patches this time! Then finally at the age of 7 I had my final surgery and this one seemed to work! This past August I had to get glasses for the first time since i was 7. I began seeing spots and getting bad headaches caused by my lazy eye. I now have glasses again. Which most of you prob don't know because I dont wear them unless I am at school or work. So, does this one count as 2 unusual things??
2. When I was little I could NOT say my "R's" I had to go to speech to correct this problem. When Ryan was young he could not say his "R's" also. It looks like our kids may need speech just like us!
3. When I was 13 I collapsed and was rushed to the hospital after being sick for a long time. My blood count was so low (hematocrit and hemoglobin, yes, I know probably spelled wrong) that I had 5 blood transfusions in 3 days. Most people know the rest!
4. I am the WORST girlfriend ever! Just ask Ryan! Because of this I know that Ryan loves me because he put up with me! After being hurt by Shane I was not going to let any boy hurt me. And I really wasn't interested in getting married again, I wanted to but, not willing to risk it. Anyways....poor Ryan liked me so much and I just wasn't willing to go there. Oh, the things I would say and do, dont ask me why he hung around! He would go home and tell his roommate about me and he would always ask Ryan why he was still hanging out with me!
5. I NEVER thought that I would finish school. I knew getting an education was important however, I dont think I believed in myself enough. So, I am extremely proud that I will be done in December. I plan on getting my Master's but, I am not sure when I will begin. I may begin the program next fall of '08 or when my kids are in school. I am not sure but, I will do it!
6. I still dont feel good many times...but, I hate telling people that I dont feel good. Having a horrible stomach makes for miserable, or uncomfortable moments. And I get sick of it so, I hate telling people ALL the time because I am sure they would get sick of hearing it. I even get irritated at Ryan when he tells my Mom I am not feeling well.
Yay, so those are my 6 things.
Love to you all!
