2 kids pretending to be grown-ups...

Ok, so I know its been a while since my last post but, we all know how life is...so, here is the latest.

Ryan and I were able to go on our honeymoon and we had a great time. We went to Nuevo Vallarta which is just outside of Puerto Vallarta. It was great. I have never been outside of the country unless, you count Canada. I also have never really played in the ocean. I had been to the ocean a few time but, never played in it. The resort we stayed in was right on the beach and had great service. Everyday we ate at a restaurant that was outside with an amazing view of the beach.

We also did a few tours. Our first tour was the canopy tour. This had 16 separate zip lines high above in a jungle and crossing over a river, some of these zip lines were a quarter mile long. It was BEAUTIFUL scenery. And then on the last zip line you were able to zip down side by side and have a race and land at the bottom of a river bed next to a great little restaurant.

Our 2nd tour was a night cruise, I call it the booze cruise. We went out for an hour long boat cruise to a private island where they put on a fantastic show, it was one of those cultural, tribal, sacred shows. You know with their faces painted and the drums beating, it was very cool. We then ate a great meal on the beach lit by candles it was awesome! Ryan and I went into to Puerto Vallarta and did some shopping, and we also went into Bucerias, which I preferred their market way more. The rest of the time we just sat and vegged out. Ryan played in the waves like a little kid and I came home with a tan :-) All in all it was a great trip, our only snag was coming home we got stuck in the Mexican airport for 5 hours which, on Christmas Eve was NOT my favorite thing. But, we made it home just in time to go to my parents house so, it all worked out.
